Had Joseph begotten Jesus, then Jesus would have been merely human, not divine. Only a miraculous virgin birth can account for the God-Man. Because of Mary, His mother, Jesus was human, as the eternal Son of God, a member of the Trinity, He is God.

Mary’s response to Gabriel’s message is one that all believers should emulate.

We can see renewal in Luke 1:37-38

"For no word from God will ever fail." (NIV) (or, "For nothing will be impossible with God," in other translations) Then Mary said, “Behold the maid servant of he Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

These verses reflect a powerful truth about God's omnipotence and faithfulness, and it carries profound themes of renewal:

Renewal Through God's Faithfulness

The Certainty of God's Word: The verse emphasizes that God's promises never fail. For believers, this truth brings renewal by reinforcing trust in His faithfulness.

Reflecting on God's unchanging Word renews hope, especially during moments of doubt or difficulty.

Renewal of Hope

Impossible Made Possible: The phrase "nothing is impossible with God" reminds us that even in the most hopeless situations, God's power can bring about change and renewal.

This truth inspires renewal by encouraging believers to trust God to work in their lives, no matter how overwhelming their challenges may seem.

Renewal of Faith

Mary's Example: This verse is part of the angel Gabriel's message to Mary, assuring her that she will miraculously conceive Jesus. Her faith and obedience in response to this revelation model how renewal comes through surrendering to God's plan
