Grace is one of God’s expressions of love for us. It is the gift unsought, unmerited, unlimited that overrules whatever a person has done, no matter the depth of the transgression or the darkness of heart. We have a heavenly Father that has an overabundance of grace, and we are the recipients of that grace. He has provided us the means to join Him in eternity through the journey of Justification, Sanctification, and ultimately Glorification.

The scriptural process of Justification, Sanctification, and ultimately Glorification is a comprehensive journey that believers undergo in identifying with Christ.

Justification is the initial step, where God declares a sinner to be righteous on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ. This is a legal declaration by God, where the righteousness of Christ is imputed to the believer. Key scriptures include Romans 3:24, which states, "and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus," and 2 Corinthians 5:21, which highlights the exchange of sin for righteousness: "God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God".

Sanctification is the ongoing process where believers are made holy and conformed to the image of Christ. Each believer is at a differThis is a cooperative effort between the believer and the Holy Spirit. Philippians 2:12-13 encourages believers to "work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good pleasure". This process involves growing in faith, resisting sin, and becoming more like Christ.

Glorification is the final stage, where believers are fully conformed to the likeness of Christ and enjoy eternal life with God. This ultimate transformation occurs when believers are resurrected and receive their glorified bodies. Romans 8:30 summarizes this process: "And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified".

Together, these stages represent the believer's journey from initial faith to ultimate redemption and eternal life with God.

Stay strong and be blessed.
