Focus: Dealing with hurts, addiction, and hangups that hold us back from the life Christ has for us

Format: Worship, Teaching, Testimonies, Small group discussions

FAMILY MATTERS – LIFE 101

Lead: Dennis & Jen Michener

Focus: Coming together in and outside of church, building relationships, while digging deeper into our faith and accountability and sharing that with one another.

Format: Currently a book study on Spiritual Warfare

Invites: All generations of the family

Meets: Mondays, 6-8pm, at the home of the Michener's 308 SW 2nd St, Ogden, IA

NEW HORIZONS

Focus: Creating friendships and encouragement for those who are working through the loss of a spouse

Format: Fellowship through meals, games, activities

Invites: Widows and widowers

Meets: Monthly. Location, date, and time varies

Focus: Fellowship uniting Christians with each other and Jesus

Format: Biblical studies

Invites: Young Adults, but all are welcome

Meets: Sundays, 630-8pm, in the basement of Boone Cornerstone

GROWING TOGETHER IN LISTENING PRAYER

Lead: Don and Barb Roome

Focus: Improve our ability to hear God, how to pray, and share encouragement through answered prayer

Format: Worship, bible verse readings, sharing suggestions, personal prayer

Invites: Everyone

Meets: First and third Friday each month at 1610 1 st Street, Boone

Note: 1st Friday: noon-3pm, 3rd Friday : 1-3pm, and share a meal
